Walk 4 Hope with Advocates Against Family Violence during our yearly campaign to spread awareness of domestic violence.

The following timeline will show you what you can expect while attending the Walk 4 Hope.

  • 5:00 pm

    Event Start

    The Walk 4 Hope will be opened with a introduction from our Executive Director, Kim Deugan. A few Success Stories from victims that used our programs and services will also be shared.

  • 5:30 pm

    Food and Vendors

    At the Walk 4 Hope there will be several different community vendors available. These include food if you're hungry and several other vendors that will have items for sale.

  • 6:00 pm

    Entertainment

    Live entertainment will be featured including Extreme Sound DJ Productions and other local bands.

  • 7:00 pm

    Getting Ready to Walk

    Dance to some great music with great people, burn some calories and get ready to Walk 4 Hope!

  • 8:00 pm

    Walk 4 Hope

    At 8 pm everyone will starting walking the route through downtown Caldwell. If you prefer to run, get to the front of the group- you'll be going first!

  • Primary (70/30) Sponsor acknowledgement on radio PSA’S over two weeks (80,000 adults will hear our message 2 times each)
  • Logo placement on six 3 x 5 Idaho Press Tribune (IPT) ads (100,000 Canyon County adults will receive this message 6 times each)

Walk 4 Hope Route

While participating in the Walk 4 Hope, you will follow a walking route in downtown Caldwell.

  1. Start at the Treasure Valley Community College building
  2. Walk on 6th Avenue towards Blaine Street and head towards 5th Avenue
  3. Continue down 5th Avenue to the corner of Main Street
  4. Walk down Main Street to the corner of 9th Avenue
  5. Take a right at the corner of Blaine Street
  6. The route ends back at the corner of 6th Avenue and Blaine Street
